Heidi Scarth is a Research Staff Level IV at EPRI. She manages Program 201-B: Electric Sector and Environmental Policy Analysis. Ms. Scarth primarily leads and supports research in the following areas: energy and climate policy impacts on the electric sector, quantitative approaches for including equity metrics in capacity expansion modeling, advancing climate resilience and power system planning, developing and applying econometric models to assess social vulnerability and technology adoption in energy systems, assessing estimation and applications of the social cost of carbon and other greenhouse gases.
Ms. Scarth holds a Master of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Maryland, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government and Economics from Wesleyan University.
