While EPRI's three-year Climate Resilience and Adaptation initiative (Climate READi) laid a strong foundation for addressing physical climate risk and resilience in the power system, challenges and opportunities for improvement remain. This short brief aims to highlight some of these challenges, spread across areas of climate data, asset performance, power system modeling, and adaptation decision-making. Beyond these, we also include a discussion of broad, cross-cutting areas that warrant additional research and development effort.
