EPRI hosted the 24th Annual IEA-IETA-EPRI Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Workshop and 11th IEA-EPRI Annual Challenges in Electricity Decarbonization Workshop, in which speakers and participants discussed emerging challenges in decarbonization, energy security, and the future of carbon markets. This update summarizes the insights from the workshops and presents frontier issues for carbon markets, utilities, financers in planning for emissions reductions, system resilience, and energy security and affordability.
