Climate READi has developed this Asset Climate Vulnerability and Adaptation Inventory online tool to help guide electric power companies in conducting climate risk or vulnerability assessments. The primary goal is to provide a starting point for companies and other stakeholders in identifying relevant climate hazards, associated exposures, potential vulnerabilities, and available adaptation strategies for the in-scope assets. The inventory may be useful for those either just beginning the process, by providing vulnerabilities to consider, or for those utilities that may have already begun or have already completed an assessment, as it can be used to verify initial findings. This website consists of an interactive table that contains potential vulnerabilities and relevant adaptation strategies for power system assets that span the sector.
