In 2024, EPRI completed the 24/7 Carbon Free Energy (CFE) Buyers Forum collaborative project, convening interested U.S. Federal Government and data center buyers with suppliers of 24/7 CFE. Applying the successful structure, this new EPRI supplemental project is designed to help EPRI members to identify and engage with hydrogen producers and project developers interested in procuring 24/7 CFE in accordance with energy certification requirements, international standards, and incentives, including the 45V Clean Hydrogen Production Tax Credit proposed rule.
